Boost is Lancashire’s £6m business growth hub, which aims to help Lancashire’s businesses grow.
Through Boost, Lancashire businesses from start-ups to large companies can get access to a number of funded programmes in areas such as mentoring, scaling up, innovation, international trade, leadership development, and accessing finance.
Founded in 2013, Boost has already helped over 5,000 business grow, creating over 2,200 jobs. Boost is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council.
Boost has received £3.65m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for ERDF. Established by the European Union, ERDF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.
