Lancashire Business Environment Awards
Applications are now open for the 2010 Lancashire Business Environment Awards.
Now in their 14th year, the Lancashire Business Environment Awards provide Lancashire businesses with recognition for their achievements in improving environmental performance.




Unpaid adult carers in Lancashire can now take advantage of a free, county-wide support service launched by Enterprise4All. The scheme, which takes the form of a series of free local support sessions, is called Caring with Confidence and its aims are to help people to develop new caring skills, to share experiences with other carers and to improve their own quality of life.
Enterprise4All has announced that Graham Chapelow will be joining its extensive team of advisers to provide expert, specialist support to manufacturers across the North West. Graham will be responsible for the delivery of manufacturing reviews, which are offered free to local businesses as part of the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS NW).
On Tuesday 13th July, business leaders from across Lancashire gathered at the Shahi Qila Restaurant in Blackburn to mark their graduation from LEAD, a £9.5 million leadership development programme funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).
