ILYAS MUNSHI
Chief Executive
Ilyas Munshi joined Enterprise4All as Chief Executive Officer in April 2008. In this role, Ilyas is committed to promoting enterprise culture and assisting start-up and established business support activity across the Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
It was in the North West that Ilyas was brought-up and where he is now bringing up a young family of his own; it was here, too, that he studied at university and worked his professional career. Ilyas therefore has a strong commitment to the region and wants to ensure the best provisions are made for all communities through enterprise, employment and education opportunities.
Ilyas previously held a senior management role at the MyTravel Group plc for over eight years prior to its merger with Thomas Cook in 2007. He joined MyTravel Group in 1999 after having previously worked in the public sector and IT Consultancy.
He has a passion for promoting entrepreneurship, and along the way helping others achieve their life ambitions. He co-founded the Sultan of Lancaster Food Court & Art Gallery in 2004 with the aim of making artwork more accessible by exhibiting the works of local and international artists on a regular basis in a friendly, informal food and drink environment.
In his spare time, Ilyas enjoys traveling the world, spending time with his family and friends and more importantly working energetically towards building a stronger community, for a better tomorrow.
